Through out the winter we have had a ton of catering jobs. We did our schools winterfest , which unfortunatly was a total bust, no one was interested on our wonderful sweets. On a better note we have also catered the hcoe holiday party for which we made like 540 cookies for . After that we had a break from the catering and we took a trip to the Eureka CR campus and took an 8 hour class for servsafe. I personally passed with an 91% , but the class was soo boring and dry I was just lucky I didnt fall asleep.
The week before christmas break we had three different catering jobs. We catered a lunch party in our campus's healthy start building , for that we made chicken parmesan , ceaser salad , garlic bread, a fruit platter , and some vanilla cupcakes with blue icing and royal icing snowflakes. We then catered a private dessert party and we made brownies , lemon tarts, mini pumpkin cheesecakes, and a ton of other delicious desserts. our last event before christmas was an 80th birthday party for a local man here in fortuna. we made paninis with apple , porschuto , gruyere cheese , all on thinly sliced bread. we also had stuffed mushrooms, chicken and beef scewers, spanicopita, and a few platters such as bread , fruit and even a sausage platter with three different kinds of mustard.
